Home Care Qualification
Accessing publicly funded home care in Alberta begins with an assessment completed by Alberta Health Services (AHS) through the Continuing Care system. This assessment determines eligibility for essential services funded by the province. For those who want immediate access, expanded care, or services beyond AHS limits, home care can also be purchased privately without an AHS assessment.
